Reaching new heights by interesting new investors.

This page contains a collection of notes about some of BWDP's most pitchable projects. It's due to be tidied up eventually.

BWDP Investments is privileged with support from a world-class web team, but does not necessarily have expertise in all industries. For this reason, we present the opportunity for other open-minded investors in Birmingham to work alongside us in pursuit of rolling out certain projects which show great potential but require specialist input from certain industries.

In view of the potential of some of our non-web related projects, we're actively seeking affiliates with a background in any of the following niches:

TV production & film-making, with special effects, relating to human biomechanics

We have a real-life, little asset that can just about turn an amateur martial arts enthusiast into a top-level shaolin untouchable overnight. Why isn't everyone talking about it? Because we haven't made a movie or documentary yet. We just need appropriate film production partners.

The details of this are not so secret, but need to be very carefully presented on screen in order to avoid high competition & mass criticism.

Technical translation services, covering globally less dominant languages

We already have the marketing mechanism for jumping to the top of any industry, within countries of globally less dominant languages. Now we just need a reliable translation taskforce.

It's undeniably a smart investment opportunity, with lucrative reward; but the theory behind this opportunity must keep a low profile in order to avoid competition.

Acquision of small, failing, local companies

Every year, dozens of Birmingham's local businesses are financially forced to wind up, with no idea that they're sitting on a gold mine. All they have is a small & failing brand, a diminishing client base, and a little, old website that nobody knows about, which sits in the corner of the internet and generates no income.

But one man's trash is another man's treasure, and BWDP Investments has the capability and confidence to assess an old, local, small business website and determine its true value, based on its potential to generate income with or without the backing of current offline business operations.

A small, failed company can easily be acquired for a few grand, justified by inclusion of a seemingly useless website which is actually worth a few dozen grand.

Key website valuation indicators are very reliable, because basic internet marketing principles can be easily simplified into mathematical formulae. BWDP Investments is fortunate enough to understand the basic formulae involved in valuating the approximate earning potential of any little, old website. But we don't specialise in offline company acquisition, so we present a co-investment opportunity to any local investor who does.

How to determine the value of a website

Some people would say that the current market value of any item is how much it sells for at an auction. But an auction is only as good as the relevancy of the buyers who attend. That's where marketing comes in. Marketeers with expertise in determining the value of a product, can buy it when sold under-value, and offer it for sale elsewhere for a more typical price.

Take an old website as a diamond, compared to a new site which is made of coal. The older the website, the clearer the diamond. The more external sites linking in to your site, the bigger the size & weight (carat) of your diamond. The better the sites that link to your site, the finer your diamond is cut.

Clarity, carat and cut. One more factor can make a big difference to the current market value of your diamond: colour. The more interesting & unique your website is, the more rare & desirable the colour of your diamond.

Like valuing a diamond by clarity, carat, cut and colour; a website can quickly be scientifically assessed to determine its approximate, likely earning potential within the hands of a leading internet marketing expert.
